Section [A] 103.1 of the International Building Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

[A] 103.1 Creation of enforcement agency. The department of building safety is hereby established within the jurisdiction under the direction of the Building Official. The Community Risk Reduction Section – Building Codes Division within the Olathe Fire Department shall be established as the department of building safety where referenced by this Code. The function of the division shall be the implementation, administration and enforcement of the provisions of this Code.
