Licenses shall be issued in the form of a durable tag which shall be fastened to the dog’s or cat’s collar or harness and worn at all times when the dog or cat is not within the structure or dwelling of the owner or custodian, except as provided by Section 8.06.110. License tags shall not be transferable. If a tag is lost, a duplicate tag will be issued for a fee as adopted by the Governing Body by resolution. (Ord. 10-31 § 6, 2010; Ord. 87-173 § 2, 1987.)
