(A) To ensure timely and complete payment of all City utility charges arising from utility services supplied to customers;

(B) To regulate termination of water services to customers for nonpayment of unified billing charges;

(C) To provide full and adequate notice to a customer of a termination of utility service to that customer and of the procedure to follow to avoid termination;

(D) To provide customers with a fair and reasonable opportunity, prior to termination, to dispute the correctness of utility charges;

(E) To standardize the contents of the City utility bill and other notices sent to customers;

(F) To regulate termination of utility services to customers for nonpayment of utility charges during inclement weather;

(G) To establish policies, procedures, and conditions governing utility service deposits. (Ord. 21-44 § 2, 2021; Ord. 86-15 § 2, 1986.)
