(A) A permit shall be required for all new connections to the City of Olathe sanitary sewer system. All connections shall be made by a licensed plumber in accordance with the City of Olathe’s Technical Specifications and the adopted Plumbing Code. The sewer connection permit shall not be issued prior to the issuance of a project completion certificate for the project providing service.

(B) A permit fee for sanitary sewer connection shall be charged. Such permit fee shall be adopted by the Governing Body of the City by resolution.

(C) The City may require testing of the service line to insure compliance with the current plumbing code. The plumber shall supply the pipe, fittings, and water to perform this test.
