pH” means the logarithm of the reciprocal of the hydrogen ion concentration of a solution. It indicates the intensity of acidity and alkalinity on a scale running from zero (0) to fourteen (14) standard units. A pH of 7.0 represents neutrality, pH values above 7.0 represents alkalinity and pH values below 7.0 represents acidity. (Ord. 22-42 § 16, 2022; Ord. 92-22 § 2, 1992; Ord. 84-105 § 1, 1984.)
