“Total Suspended Solids” (herein abbreviated as TSS) means the laboratory determination of the dry weight expressed in mg/l of solids that either float on the surface, or are in suspension and which can be removed from the wastewater, in accordance with procedures given in “Standard Methods.” (Ord. 92-22 § 2, 1992.)
