The requirements stated in the chapter shall not be construed as imposing upon the city, its officers, agents or employees any liability or responsibility for damages to any property or injury to any person due to defective construction or installation. The city or any official, employee, or agent thereof shall not assume liability or responsibility whatsoever by reason of any inspection or approval of any installation. (Ord. 01-115 § 1, 2001.)
