Subsection [A] 102.13 is hereby added to the International Fire Code and shall read as follows:

[A] 102.13 – Home child daycares. Home child daycares shall meet the requirements of the Johnson County, Kansas Home Daycare Handbook – 2018 Edition. These homes shall be inspected and approved by the Fire Department before children are allowed to occupy the home. The home shall be inspected by the Fire Department at least once every two years following the initial inspection.
