Pursuant to K.S.A. 48-1201, et seq., in the event that the Judge of the Olathe Municipal Court is unavailable to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Court, the Mayor and/or City Manager may appoint any attorney with at least ten years of legal experience, preferable in the Olathe Municipal Court, as Judge of the Municipal Court with the approval of the majority of the remaining City Council.
