The violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter is a misdemeanor, and any person, firm, association, partnership or corporation convicted thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00); and the City of Olathe, Kansas, shall further have the authority to maintain suits or actions in any court of competent jurisdiction for the purpose of enforcing any provision of this Chapter; and in addition to other remedies, institute injunction, mandamus, or other appropriate action or proceeding to prevent the set-up, erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, maintenance or use of a special event, or to correct or abate such violations. Each and every day any violation of this Chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 15-36 § 2, 2015; Ord. 94-88 § 2, 1994.)
