There shall be no transfers or assignments of taxicab licenses from one person or entity to another. A change in the stock ownership of ten percent or more of the outstanding stock, or any change in the corporate structure of a corporation holding a license hereunder, including a change effected by a merger, consolidation or reorganization shall require submission of a new application pursuant to 5.24.020 along with applicable license fees.
