(A) The purpose of this chapter is to encourage alarm users and alarm companies to maintain the operational reliability, properly use alarm systems, and reduce or eliminate false alarm dispatch request.

(B) This chapter governs systems intended to summon police response, requires permits, establishes fees, provides for fees for violations, establishes a system of administration and sets conditions for suspension or loss of permits. (Ord. 18-02 § 1, 2018.)
