A customer may request a meter test be performed to determine the accuracy of their meter. A fee shall be charged to a customer who requests the testing of a meter and the test results indicate that the meter registers within the standards established by the American Water Works Association. Such fee shall be adopted by the Governing Body of the City by resolution. A meter test fee shall not be assessed if the test results indicate that the meter registers outside of the standards established by the American Water Works Association.
