Biochemical Oxygen Demand” (herein abbreviated as BOD) means the quantity of oxygen expressed in mg/l utilized in the biochemical oxidation of organic matter during incubation at 20 degrees Celsius for a period of five (5) days. The tests shall be made in accordance with “Standard Methods.” (Ord. 92-22 § 2, 1992; Ord. 84-105 § 1, 1984.)
