Pursuant to K.S.A. 65-4301 et seq., as amended, it shall be the duty of the chief of the Fire Department to provide a program for emergency medical service, which shall be known and designated as the “Emergency Medical Service Program” of the city. (Ord. 418 § 2 (part), 1976.)
